Launching a Site and a Journey

Here at Beauty & the Budget Events, I am so excited to announce the launch of my new website! While some elements of starting a new business are challenging, others bring so much joy and excitement. B&B Events is still in its "passion project" stage, which essentially means I'm working toward becoming an official business and doing everything in my power to get a running start. Launching a website to share my journey combines both challenge and reward, and I look forward to growing personally and professionally through this process.


I believe it's so much better to do than to dream, and I didn't hesitate to dive in once I felt called to start an event planning business after planning my own wedding. I immediately started working with a mentor planner, Emily Warrick, doing as much research as I could, and searching for clients. From networking events and business cards to social media and word of mouth, I was delighted to secure a few weddings and social events within the first two months of launching my passion project, and I'm falling more in love with this work with every step I take.
